This is how to make the simplest homemade cleaner: Add two to three tablespoons of citric acid to one litre of water and let the lime dissolve.

Washing Soda


Washing soda removes grease stains from stoves, work surfaces or pots and is generally excellent for removing incrustations and dirt.

Baking soda


Baking soda can be used in a similar way to soda and is recommended for particularly heavy soiling: for example, if milk has burned into the pot during cooking.

That’s how it works: Dissolve some baking soda in water in the damaged pot and heat the mixture for a few minutes. Afterwards, the burnt-in remains can be easily removed from the bottom of the pot with a brush or sponge.
